Public Consultation on Government Draft Resolutions

On September 20, 2018 Georgian Parliament approved the new Law on Vocational Education, that enables the TVET sector to form a new model with close structural and conceptual links to other levels of education, with improved access for all groups of society, meeting the demand of the labor market and contributing to development of high skilled workers in the country. According to Law, Georgian Government should approve number of sublegal acts in the current year. With the support from the international partners, including UNDP and GIZ, draft resolutions with emphasize on participation of private sector, sectoral associations and employers’ unions in the reform process, have been elaborated.

Ministry shares the following draft resolutions for public consultations:

  1. Rule and provisions for implementation of vocational education program/short cycle education program/ vocational training and retraining programs in the form of work based learning;                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
  2. Rule for the development of professional standard/s;                                                                                                                                                                                             
  3. Rule and provisions for acquiring the status of Teaching Enterprise;
