The goal of Vocational Education in Georgia is to enhance the  country economic development, social inclusion, life long personal and professional development. Also it aims at fill in the gap of supply and demand on the labor market, using the active engagement of employers in formation of education programs and its provision. Consequently, among those instruments used for the sector reform, the private sector engagement through Public-Private Partnership models, plays crucial role.

Vocational education is voluntary choice. There is no upper age limit for entering the system and it ensures the constant opportunity of personal and professional development for the person through entire life.

In modern era, skills development is not applicable only in educational institutions, but in parallel to general, vocational or higher education institutions, it is accessible at training center or at the workplace.
